Drawing Kit – On The GO
A dedicated backpack or bag so you can grab your supplies quickly. You may want to keep a duplicate set of the “essentials” in your car or in other locations you visit frequently.
Essentials:
1 Sketchbook (Classic cachet / with acid free paper) – In a size you want to hold
1 Drawing Pencil (ie: Staedler, tourquise, or Mitsbushi Uni)
1 pencil sharper

Increasing Complexity:
In Pencil case:
Eraser
Sharpened pencils (2B, B, HB) find your favorite!
Black pens: 1) sharpie black pen – doesn’t run with watercolor 2) black pen – does run for fun effect
Scissors

For Color:
clips for wind (clothes pins or bull dog clips)
watercolor set / white gouache as needed
water bottle – holds water for paint (or can use your personal water bottle to fill jam jars)
2 jam jars with lids for water mixing – (trek out your pigment water)
paper towel roll
Personal:
Bug repellent (Victoria’s Secret Bombshell)
Suntan lotion
Water bottle with water
Sun or bug hat
Warm layers as needed
Snack
Phone if needed – >on do not disturb
