Description:
The more you go to a place, the better you know it.. and the more it opens up to you. In this special drawing class: we will be spending time with one or two places (your backyard, garden, park, or beach or even a porch, balcony, or room in your house) to connect with them though drawing.
Discover how to set up your own backyard drawing oasis, put together a travel kit to draw outside, and learn how to draw in public places.
Foundational drawing techniques will be discussed such as contour, negative space and quick sketch/gesture. We will do draw short, medium and long distance landscape views and discuss atmospheric and one-point perspective.
This class can be attended with any pencil, pencil sharpener and paper. Optional material list is supplied on registration.
